Reporting in Support of online Gambling Supervision

13 Sep Reporting in Support of online Gambling Supervision

On the 29th August, 2018 MRGC representatives again attended a meeting of the CEN / TC 456 “Reporting in Support of online Gambling Supervision”. The CEN / TC 456 was set up to come up with a common reporting standard and common data sets across the EU. There are mirror committees in a number of states and apart from meetings held locally and chaired by the MCCAA, there are meetings held for all committees wherein certain issues are discussed and decisions taken. The next meeting will be held on the 15th November, 2018 in Paris. By the 28th September each mirror committee has to submit the data sets required of by the local gaming authority/supervisor. The MGA is also actively participating in the CEN /TC 456 committee and has provided the members of the mirror committee of Malta with a draft document outlying the data requirements for discussion before submission.
